‖ tunu|ˈtuːnuː| Also tuno, toonu. [Carib name in Honduras.] A Central American tree, Castilloa Tunu, Hemsley (N.O. Artocarpaceæ), which yields a non-elastic caoutchouc called tunu gum (or tunu). (Other species produce rubber.)
