My Last Year in Primary School
Time flies and my last year in primary school has finally come to an end. It has been an unforgettable journey full of ups and downs, laughter and tears.
One of the highlights of this year was our class trip to the zoo. We were all excited to see various animals up close and personal. From the majestic lions to the playful monkeys, we were amazed by the diversity of species. Our guide was very knowledgeable and taught us interesting facts about each animal. We also had a fun time watching the penguins swim and the elephants munching on their food. This trip not only gave us a chance to enjoy and learn about nature, but also strengthened the bond between classmates.
Another memorable experience was participating in the School Sports Day. Months of hard work and practice paid off as we showcased our athletic skills in various events. From sprinting and long jump to relay races and tug-of-war, everyone gave their best and cheered each other on. I managed to win a medal in the long jump event, which filled me with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Sports Day taught me the importance of perseverance and team spirit.
Academically, this year was challenging but rewarding. We tackled more complex subjects like math and science, and the workload increased. However, with the help and encouragement of our teachers, I managed to improve my grades and develop a stronger foundation in these subjects. I also discovered my love for English language and literature. My English teacher inspired me to explore the world through reading and writing. Through various activities like storytelling and poem recitation, my confidence in using the English language grew.
I will always cherish the friendships I made in primary school. We laughed together, cried together, and supported each other through thick and thin. Whether it was playing during recess, studying for exams, or helping each other with homework, my classmates were always there for me. They made my primary school days brighter and filled with joy. As we bid farewell to primary school, I know that these friendships will remain in my heart forever.
