Yezidi, -dee|ˈjɛzɪdiː| Also Yeze(e)dee, Izedi, Zezidee. [Of disputed origin.] One of a religious sect found in Kurdistan, Armenia, and the Caucasus, which, while believing in a Supreme God, regards the Devil with reverential fear.
