We Are So Lucky
Why are we lucky? Because…
We have our own parents, grandparents and many friends. Our parents love us very much. If we want to have some things, they always buy them for us. When we are ill, they are always worried about us. They’ll take us to the hospital and tell us to take the medicine. But we can’t understand them because we always think the things they care about are our points. In fact, that’s wrong.
We have happy lives. In the past, people in China were very poor. They often didn’t have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. But now, we have very delicious food to eat and many beautiful clothes to wear. We can enjoy different kinds of fruit. We can go to the cinema to see a film.
We can travel to many places of interest and little children have a lot of toys to play. Most of the people have their own mobile phones and flats.
Many people drive their own cars. At the weekends, we can go to the park or go shopping. We can watch TV or play on the Internet every day. We have enough stationery and we students can have classes in the big and bright classrooms. We go to school by bike; some even go to school by car.
In fact, we are so lucky! We never feel hungry or cold. We have enough money for food and studies. But we never find it, we always say, “I’m so tired. I don’t want to go to school. The homework is too much. We are not happy. We are birds, but we can’t fly in the sky!” But, you must understand, we are really lucky!
