combining form of tuber2, as in ˈtubero-ˈcystic, having or forming a tuberous cyst; ˌtubero-hypophyseal, -ial a. Anat. [for primary stress see hypophysial a.] = next; ˌtubero-infunˈdibular a. Anat., relating to the tuber cinereum and the infundibulum; spec. applied to a tract of nerve fibres that includes those running from the infundibular and related nuclei of the hypothalamus to the infundibulum.
