[ad. Gr. τριετηρικός, L. trietēricus, f. τριετηρίς a festival celebrated every third, i.e. alternate, year, f. τρι- three + ἔτος year.]
A. adj. Taking place every alternate year, as the festivals of Bacchus and other divinities.
