† ˈtoll-book Obs. [toll n.1] A book containing a register of beasts or goods to be sold at a market or fair, and the tolls payable for them; in the toll-book, in the market, for sale (in quot. 1607 fig.); also, a tax-collector's register or assessment-book. Also in Comb. toll-book keeper.
