1. Anat. and Path. Of, pertaining to, or connected with the thymus gland.

2. Physiol. Chem. In thymic acid, C16H25N3P2O12, a colourless acid obtained from the thymus gland. Its salts are thymates |ˈθaɪmeɪts|.
