A naturally occurring brittle, highly lustrous, black mixture or complex of carbon and hydrocarbons with uraninite.
1928H. V. Ellsworth in Amer. Mineralogist XIII. 66 A remarkable carbon mineral, which will be described in another paper under the name of thucholite, is sometimes very intimately associated with both uraninite and samarskite. 1938R.
