thrummy, a. Now rare.|ˈθrʌmɪ| [f. thrum n.2 + -y.] Consisting of, characterized by, or resembling thrums; covered with thrums; shaggy, downy, velvety. Formerly of flowers with conspicuous anthers, of fibrous roots, etc. (cf. thrum n.2 4).
