† throuch, through Sc. Obs.|θrʌx| Also 6 thrugh, throch, throuche. [History and etymology unknown. All the forms cited occur also as spellings of through n.1, but it is difficult to see any connexion with that word, unless it be that both are rectangular and flat.] A sheet (of paper).
