[f. Gr. στεν-ός narrow + ὀπαῖ-ος perforated (f. ὀπή opening, hole) + -ic.]
Of an eye-piece: Having only a narrow translucent aperture, designed to increase the accuracy of the sight by cutting off all obscurations. Hence of instruments, methods, etc.: Characterized by the use of a stenopæic eye-piece.
