sodipotassic, a. Geol.|ˌsəʊdɪpəˈtæsɪk| Also sodo- |ˌsəʊdəʊ-|. [Blend of sodic and potassic adjs.] Containing both sodium and potassium in appreciable quantities. In quot. 1902 used to denote a specified compositional range in the classification scheme of Cross, Iddings, Pirsson, and Washington.
