A hydrated phosphate of ferrous iron and bivalent manganese (the latter predominating), (Mn,Fe)3(PO4)2.3H2O, which forms an isomorphous series with phosphoferrite and occurs as pinkish, yellowish, or colourless, translucent or transparent, orthorhombic crystals.
