As we know, the enivironment is very important for our human beings. To protect the environment is to save ourselves.
But because of men’s activities, many environmental problems have been caused. I think the most serious problem must be water pollution. Our planet is almost covered by water, men can’t live without water. It is an important source that men depend on to live on. If the water you drink is being polluted, can you image what the result will be. There’s no doubt that we may die because the lack of water. So protecting water is the most important thing we must do.
First, government should take more action to solve this problem, holding meetings to educate people and let them know the situation for the moment. Second, we must throw away our bad habits, such as wasting water. Even a drop of water we must make full use of it. For example, we can use the water for washing vegetables to water trees and flowers. Finally, we must limit ourselves and not throw rubbish to the river or the lake nearby. If we do that, not only will the water be polluted, but also the fish is going to die.
In a word, water is our life. In order to make our social life and our world more and more beautiful, to make a good living environment for ourselves, please please protect the water.
