All-night sleep of the soul; a state in which (according to some) the soul sleeps between death and the day of judgement. So psychopannychian |ˌpsaɪkəʊpəˈnɪkɪən|, -ˈpannychist, -ˈpannychite, one holding this doctrine; psychoˈpannychism, the doctrine of the psychopannychists; ˌpsychopannyˈchistic a., pertaining to the psychopannychists or their belief.
