prismane, n. Chem.|ˈprɪzmeɪn| [f. prism n. + -ane.] Any saturated hydrocarbon whose molecule contains six carbon atoms linked together in the shape of a triangular prism; spec. the isomer of benzene, C6H6 , which has this structure.
