Gr. πληροϕορία (Heb. vi. 11, x. 22, etc.) fullness of assurance, f. *πληροϕόρος bringing satisfaction, f. πλήρης full, satisfied + -ϕόρος bearing; cf. πληροϕορεῖν to bring full measure, satisfy fully.] Full assurance or certainty. (Common in 17th c. in theological use.)
