The lævorotatory form of 1-(m-hydroxyphenyl)-2-methylaminoethanol, HO·C₆H₄·CH₂OH·NH·CH₃, which is used (usu. as the hydrochloride) as an anti-hypotensive agent and nasal decongestant. Cf. Neo-Synephrine.
