ˈPembroke Name of a town and shire in Wales and of an earldom in the British Peerage. Hence Pembroke table, or ellipt. Pembroke, a table supported on four fixed legs, having two hinged side portions or flaps, which can be spread out horizontally, and supported on legs connected with the central part by joints.
