[f. Gr. πάλιν again + σπαστικ-ός drawing in (see spastic a.).]
Of a map or the like: representing layers of rock as returned to their supposed former positions. Hence palinˈspastically adv., by means of such maps; palinˈspastics n. pl., the production of such maps.
