ˈox-ˌharrow, n. A large and powerful harrow used on clay lands; originally drawn by oxen.
1523Fitzherb. Husb. §15 It is vsed in many countreys, the husbandes to haue an oxe harowe, the whiche is made of sixe smal peces of timbre, called harowe bulles. 1764Museum Rusticum III. xxi. 89 A pair of ox-harrows, or the heaviest of all, in many counties called drags. 1766Ibid.
