Our English Teacher
Our English teacher is a pretty woman. She speaks excellent English. We marvel at her pronunciation. She writes beautifully on the blackboard. She organizes her lectures well and appeals to the students.
But now, we are very angry with her. This term she was concentrating on transferring her position and was absent-minded in class. It was said she had received a position in a Sino American joint venture to work as a secretary in a newly-founded Kentucky Fried Chicken restaraunt. The school would not let her go and insisted that she finish her work for the semester. She was not inthe least interested in teaehing now. She came to class one day, and on another. she pretended that she was ill and stayed away from class, which left many of us studcnts in a difficult situation.
Carrying our schoolbags, we moved from classroom to classroom for English lectures, and different classes were having Aifferent lessons. We could not have a complete losson. At last, we decided to study by ourselves. Not long ago the school asked us to appraise the teaehers' work. As to our English teacher, Wang Pei, we gave her a series of poor scores. Then, only then, did we feel we had our revemge.
我们的英语老师
我们的英语老师是一位漂亮女郎。她能说一口流利的英语。我们更惊叹她那动人的发音。上课时，她能写一手优美的板书。她讲课有条不紊，深受学生欢迎。
而在这学期，我们可被她气死了。她自己一心想跳槽，上课一点不专心。据传，她已在上海新开张的中美合资企业——肯德基炸鸡店——找到了一个女秘书职位。可偏偏学校不放，坚持要她上完这学期的课才能走。她一点热情也没有，于是，便三天打鱼、两天晒网，今天来上课，下次就推病不来了。可苦了我们这些莘莘学子了。
英语课背着书包四处打游击是常事儿。而各班的进度又不尽相同，于是我们只好常常上那脱节的课。最后，气得我们干脆决心自学算了。不久前，学校里组织我们给老师打分，这位外语老师——王蓓——当然毫不含糊得了一大串2分。只有这时，我们才算出了一口气。
