后面接上复数名词，相当于中文的“偏偏”，意思是“从所有…当中偏偏选中某人、某时、某地或某物”。

• You of all people should know.偏偏你是应该知道的。
• Why now of all times?为什么偏偏是现在？（不早不晚？）
• Barren Siberia, of all places, may be original home to animal life.荒漠的西伯利亚恰恰可能是动物生存的发源地。
• It started, of all places, in the Swiss Alps.偏偏开始于瑞士的阿尔卑斯山。
• They met and fell in love in a supermarket, of all places他们偏偏是在一个超市相识并爱上的。
• But tonight, of all nights, he is in the audience.但是偏偏今天晚上他就在观众席上。

有了这个复数名词，同样的单数名词就可以省略。

• He needed such men more than ever at this (*at this time) of all times.偏偏在这个节骨眼上，他比什么时候都更需要这些人。
