A bicyclic diterpenoid alcohol, C₂₀H₃₄O, which occurs in the oil of manoao wood and is used as a base for perfumes.

C₂₀H₃₄O... II is therefore a bicyclic diterpene alc. with 2 double bonds, for which the name manoöl is proposed.1969N.Z.
