An antimonate and titanate of calcium, iron, and sodium, (Ca,Fe,Na)₂(Sb,Ti)₂O₇, which is found as small yellow to yellowish brown octahedral crystals and may be regarded as a titanian romeite.
1895Hussak & Prior in Mineral. Mag. XI. 83 We have given the name of Lewisite to this new titano-antimonate from Brazil in honour of Prof. W. J. Lewis, during whose tenure of office the study of Mineralogy in the University of Cambridge has been so much encouraged.1932Mineral. Abstr.
