A dog cross-bred from a Labrador retriever and a poodle; such dogs considered collectively as a breed.
Originally developed with the aim of breeding a dog with the Labrador's temperament and the poodle's hypoallergenic coat, for use as a guide dog for people allergic to dog hair.
