Koplik Med.|ˈkɒplɪk| [The name of Henry Koplik (1858–1927), U.S. pædiatrician.] Koplik('s) spot: a small greyish-yellow spot, usually with a red halo, occurring on the bucal mucosa (or sometimes on the intestinal mucosa) in the early stages of measles.
