Measuring a hundred feet in length and breadth; a hundred feet square. So hecaˈtompedon [Gr. ἑκατόµπεδον], a temple of these dimensions, as the Parthenon at Athens; hence hecaˈtompedism (irreg. hecatompedonism), applied to the system of exact proportions in architecture.
