Euganean, a. (and n.)|juːˈgeɪnɪən| [f. L. Eugane-us, f. Euganeī an ancient people of northern Italy: see -an.] Designating a range of hills (the Colli Euganei) southwest of Padua. Also (rare) absol. as n. pl., the Euganean hills.
