esplees, n. pl. Law.|ɛˈspliːz| [ad. AF. esplez, espletz, pl. of OF. esplet, espleit, esploit revenue:—L. explicitum, neut. pa. pple. of explicāre to unfold, in vulg. Lat. to develop, extract, accomplish. Cf. exploit, which is ultimately the same word.] The products which ground or land yield; as the hay of meadows, herbage of pasture, corn of arable, rents, services, etc.; also, the lands, etc. themselves.
