1877Roscoe & Schorl. Chem. I. 345 The name disulphuric acid H₂S₂O₇ has been given to this substance, as it forms a series of very stable salts; thus sodium disulphate Na₂S₂O₇ is obtained by heating the acid sodium sulphate HNaSO₄, so long as water is given off.
