dagging, vbl. n. Now dial.|ˈdægɪŋ| [f. dag v.1 + -ing1.] The action of the verb dag; clogging with dirt, esp. of the wool about the hinder parts of a sheep; spec. in Austral. and N.Z., the operation of cutting off the ‘dags’ or locks of dirty wool from (sheep); in pl. (concr.) = dag-locks.
