Hence convolvuˈlinic acid, C₃₁H₅₄O₁₈, a product of the action of fixed alkalis upon convolvulin. conˈvolvulinol, a crystallizable substance, obtained from convolvulinic acid. convolvuliˈnolic acid, an acid formed by the action of alkaline solutions on convolvulinol.
