Car Accidents Declining in Walton City
This graph shows the rise and fall of the rate of car accidents in Wa[ton City in different months in 1990. We can see that the first three months saw an increase. Then it decreased constantly in the next three months. But it increased again and reached its highest in August. After that, it kept declining and reached to the lowest at the end of the year.
There are several reasons for the decline of the car accidents in this city. For one thing, new roads were built, narrow streets were widened and traffic facilities were improved, which made accidents unlikely to occur. For another, new traffic regulations were put into effect, with made both drivers and pedestrians more aware of the necessity and importance to abide by the regulations.
From the above reasons, we can see that the traffic accident is a problem that requires efforts of the government, the drivers and the confidently predict that the rate of car accidents will keep descending this year and in the future.
