The name of Francesco Cetti (fl. 1776), Italian ornithologist, used in the possessive, as Cetti's warbler, to designate a chestnut-brown southern European warbler, Cettia cetti, resident in Britain since the 1970s and noted for its strikingly loud and abrupt song.
