Castile soap|kəˈstiːl ˈsəʊp| Formerly castle-soap. [from Castile, a province of Spain, in which the soap was originally made.] A fine hard soap made with olive-oil and soda. There are two kinds, the white and the mottled. Called also Spanish soap.
