[ad. Skr. Bhoṭīya Tibetan, f. Bhoṭa Tibet.]
A native or inhabitant of Bhutan (see Bhutanese n. and a.) or southern Tibet; the language(s) of this region; also, (one of) a breed of pony native to the Himalayas. Also attrib. or quasi-adj. Hence ˈBhotian a.
