[f. the name of Tony (Anthony Wedgwood) Benn (see below) + -ite1.]
A. adj. Of or pertaining to the Labour politician Tony Benn (b. 1925); supporting Mr. Benn, the left-wing policies associated with him, or such policies in general.
B. n. A supporter of (the policies of) Mr. Benn, or of policies considered to be towards the left wing of Labour Party thinking.
