Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I feel honored to stand here to deliver a speech on the Palestine-Israel issue. As far as I’m concerned, the United States should choose to give priority to interest and be partial to Israel.
There are three main reasons. Firstly , Israel is located on a land-transit road of Europe, Africa and Asia, so it can monitor naval activities in future wars. So the United States will choose Israel’s important strategic location.
Secondly, as we all know, oil is a hot commodity in the world and every country wants to win an advantage in strategy. The United States is no exception. Moreover, the gulf war has proved that the controlling Israel is equivalent to controlling oil in the Middle East.
Last but not least. The United States hold the ideas that Israel is the only western democracy in the Middle East. From a political point of view, Israel can be trusted by the United states as a good friend in the Middle East.
It can be seen that Israel has great geographical location, rich oil resources and political security. Therefore, there is no doubt that the United States should choose to give priority to interest and be partial to Israel.
