1) be advised that... 是商业信件的惯用语，没有任何实质意义。

• Be advised that nothing of the sort is contemplated.确无此等意图，尚希鉴察。

也可以用于一般的告示上。

• Please be advised that the parking lot will be closed tomorrow.请注意，停车场明日将关闭。

2) well-advised, better-advised, ill-advised（可以有或没有连字号）常用来评判做某事（后面加动词不定式）是否明智。

• Tom would have been well-advised to tear himself away from the enterprise before he lost any more money.汤姆本来明智的做法，应该是趁自己还没有损失更多的钱之前从这个企业脱身。
• They would have been better advised to stick with their first choice.他们要是一直坚持头一个选择，那本来就更为可取。
• I think he may have been ill-advised to put his suggestions down on paper.我觉得他把自己的建议写在纸上可能是不明智的。
• (They) are well advised to die young lest they make fools of themselves. (The Economist, Oct. 13, 2007, p.41)（他们）最好英年早逝，以免日后出洋相。
