The mating of brothers and sisters, as in certain ants.
1926W. M. Wheeler tr. R.A.F. de Réaumur's Nat. Hist. Ants 244 ‘Adelphogamy’, or mating between males and virgin females of the same formicary undoubtedly occurs.1928C. K. Ogden tr. Forel's Soc. Hence this is a clear and evident case of perpetual and constant adelphogamy.
